Okay, cigarettes are still bad for you. But the BAND Diet Cig, AKA New-Paltz duo Noah Bowman and Alex Luciano, is great for your ears. They are the quintessential garage band, complete with whiny vocals and cheeky lyrics that will probably make you feel nostalgic for the 90s. (Their guitar kind of sounds like Jimmy Eat World. Holler if you agree.) Will their music be on the radio? Hell no. They’re way too indie. Will my iTunes have them on repeat? Absolutely.
